Bernardo Beach Native Plant Farm is a small artisan nursery - the quality of our product is as important to us as our profit - with 25 years' experience growing beautiful, heat-loving and cold-tolerant southwestern native and arid-adapting plants well-suited to the gardens of the high desert of central New Mexico. We currently offer 270 species of trees, vines, shrubs, accent cacti and succulents, perennial wildflowers and garden flowers, groundcovers, and grasses. Click on Only the Best Plants for a partial list. Availability fluctuates and is most complete from late May throughout the summer.
In the desert, every drop of water counts, so we specialize in colorful, water-conservative plants, and to make your garden hum with life, we grow plants that produce food and cover for wildlife including hummingbirds and butterflies.
The Albuquerque location of Bernardo Beach Natives at 3729 Arno Street NE - north off of Candelaria Boulevard between I-25 and 2nd Street - is open March 1st through October 31st from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
